Today, In Her Shoes, Inc. and the Knights & Daughters of Tabor are working to carry that legacy forward through fresh food access, nutrition education, and prevention-centered community health.

The Taborian legacy is a story of dignity, self-determination, and community-built care. At a time when Black families in the Delta needed access to healing, the Taborian Hospital represented what could be made possible through shared commitment.
